The first ever all women Royal Rumble scores big with WWE fans!

Exactly one year ago we tweeted Stephanie McMahon the idea of an all women Royal Rumble match. This year, our wish came true! In fact in some opinions the all women Royal Rumble was more exciting than the guys. It was so exciting to see legends return like; Lita, Beth Phoenix, Vickie Guerrero, Torrie Wilson, Brie Bella, Jacqueline, Molly Holly, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly and yes, Trish Stratus! Her performance was quite impressive! Molly Holly proved that she still had it but everyone was excited to see Trish Stratus steal the show!

We can’t leave out the talented and creative Naomi as she had a Kofi Kingston moment at the Rumble prior to elimination. The female Brock Lesner of the women roster, Nia Jax’s performance was pure dominance and brute power. We really thought she was going to last to the end. Moreso, NXT stars Ember Moon and Kairi Sane also entered the Rumble.

In my opinion, I think it was more exciting to see Sasha Banks in the face of Trish Stratus than anything. Sasha Banks eventually threw Stratus over the top and then there were four left. Sasha Banks, Brie & Nikki Bella and Asuka. After enduring a sudden beat down by the Bellas & Sasha, Nikki and Asuka ended up the last two superstars in the end, however Asuka would go on to be the first ever female winner of the all women Royal Rumble.
